Rev. Msgr. Peter Eymard Mercelino "Dennis" Sison Odiver was a graduate of Bachelor in Sacred Theology in the University of Santo Tomas where he also acquired his Masters Degree in Higher Religious Studies and Doctorate in Philosophy.

He was ordained on December 12, 1991 and was invested as Papal Chaplain on May 28, 2001. He started his first mission as a Spiritual Director of Juniorate Department in San Carlos Seminary in 1991 and was assigned in different parishes in Manila including Mary the Queen of Peace Shrine in EDSA as Vice Rector in 1992 and San Guillermo Church in Pasig as a Parish Priest in 1995. He was the Spiritual Director of Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary from 1992 to 1993 and became Rector of the said seminary from 1998 to 2003.

He was the former Pastor of the Parish of the Holy Cross in Brgy. Tejeros, Makati City until he was transferred here at St. Andrews the Apostle Parish as Parish Priest on February 2, 2011.

MSGR. Emmanuel V. Sunga

Immediate Past Parish Priest
2002- Jan 2011

Rev. Msgr. Emmanuel Suñga was not a stranger to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish when he came in 2002. Having regularly presided in Sunday masses here in the ‘80s and served as the Musical Director of the Bel-Air and Friends Choir since the time of then Msgr. Pelayo, Msgr. Suñga’s appointment was warmly embraced by the parishioners.

Under the guidance of our pastor, parish programs & activities continue to be expressions of St. Andrew’s preferential option for the poor, opportunities to nurture relationships, and instruments for evangelizing the community.

The creation of sub-parishes to strengthen unity and friendship in the villages; the re-launch of the Parish Renewal Experience program to enrich the parishioners’ relationships with their families, fellow Catholics, parish and the Church; the conduct of medical outreach at Isla Puting Bato in Manila; and the launching of the housing, feeding, and scholarship programs on November 30, 2005 all attest to the parish’s commitment to total self-renewal, discipleship and selfless life of sharing.
